Account Manager - Pacific Northwest

We are seeking an Account Manager – Pacific Northwest , based preferably in the greater Portland, OR or Seattle, WA area, to join our Grodan Sales team, reporting to the West Coast Sales Manager. This position will be remote with up to 50% travel and the territory includes : WA, OR, ID, MT and Alaska.

What You Will Be Doing
We supply innovative and sustainable stone wool growing media solutions for the licensed cannabis market and retail horticultural sector, based on Precision Growing principles. Stone wool growing substrates are offered together with tailor-made advice and innovative tools to support Precision Growing, enabling growers to achieve the best crop possible.
Create strategic action plans based on organizational goals and market approaches
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future customers : retailers, licensed cannabis growers, distributors, and important industry influencers
Promote products and services using technical, organizational, and market knowledge
Conduct market intelligence regarding new developments, threats and opportunities
Attend and participate in tradeshows and events
Lead workshops and other internal training sessions
What You Bring
Agriculture, Science or Technology degree preferred or equivalent experience
3+ years of direct industry experience in CEA/Agriculture/Science
Licensed cannabis production experience
Prior sales experience with excellent negotiation skills
Ability to act as a technical advisor regarding the best solutions
Experience developing and delivering professional presentations
Travel of up to 50% with up to date passport
Fluency with CRM software and MS Office

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. Your base salary is determined based on location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions. This position is bonus eligible.
