We have been hired by an 8(a) acquisition and software/systems engineering firm that specializes in utilizing engineering principles and custom software technology to improve efficiencies, control cost and maintain schedule which empowers business, government and commercial organizations to perform at their highest capability.
We are searching for an Information Technology Specialist to perform a variety of IT functions from cyber security to performing in-depth complex analyses with a high degree of quality and accuracy in support of operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Performs a variety of information technology functions:
Capable of performing a wide range of duties from cyber security to performing in-depth complex analyses with a high degree of quality and accuracy
Serve as equipment custodian for all IT equipment including computers and printers throughout lifecycle
Provide database administration, maintenance, and inventory management
Maintain printer functionality
Serve as cyber security liaison
Manage telephone control management and personal wireless communication services
Serve as software manager and IT administrator
Support assistant IT Planning
Ensure timely responses to reports and taskers
Provide conference room management support
Offer technical services
Assist in network accreditation for both unclassified and classified systems
Handle data collection, usage, modification/enhancement, implementation, integration, testing, documentation, and maintenance of tools, processes, guidelines, methodologies, databases, websites, reports, and applications to support the execution and management of customer Information Technology programs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
At least 3 years of experience in the IT career field.
Federal experience is strongly preferred.
Must possess strong verbal and writing skills and the ability to manage multiple, ongoing processes.
Proficiency (at least 3 years ) in the following software: MS office suite of tools required, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, MS access is desired.
Experience with other electronic formats such as PDFs, LiveLink and SharePoint is a plus
