The SVP of Technology will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for setting and executing the technology vision and strategy for the organization. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive technological innovation and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives innovation.
Provide leadership and direction for the technology team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Operational Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of the technology infrastructure and operations.
Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.
Manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investment in technology resources.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with other members of the executive team to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business goals.
Drive the development of new products and services, leveraging technology to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related matters with stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and key partners.
Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, fostering professional growth and development.
Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability for the technology team.
Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and customer focus within the technology organization.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Technology Management) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive position.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful technology strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure and operations.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them to drive business results.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing technology budgets.
