PrideStaff is working with a global leader, hiring field service engineers in the area. Our Indianapolis, IN client is a global supplier of high-quality injection molding and plastics processing equipment which support a variety of applications and industries.
Are you looking to join a regional team with a focus on supporting amazing customers in the installation, service and maintenance of some of the worlds best technical engineered machinery?
All field service engineers receive factory-based training in Connecticut @ US HQ followed by job shadowing in the field. An Associate’s degree in electronics with mechanical engineering experience in the field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Installation of new injection molding machines, robotics and automation systems in a specified territory and providing subsequent customer training.
Independently diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing highly sophisticated injection molding machines.
Rebuilding and modifying molding machines according to factory specifications.
Assist with process optimization according to customer requirements.
Job Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in field service or manufacturing utilizing a high degree of electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic diagnosis and knowledge.
Ability to read and decipher electrical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent customer service & communication skills.
Electrically trained, capable of hydraulic troubleshooting with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Associate’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering or related field
