SUMMARY
Perform support functions for equipment installation start-ups, warranty visits, and upgrades at customers' facilities. Will work with various departments while on-site for completion and equipment sign-off. Travel is required for a minimum of 65-75% of the time for projects.
*RELOCATION NOT NECESSARY*
Field Service Engineers can retain their residence anywhere in the US. Travel to customers' facilities is company paid. Occasional trips to headquarters in Kansas will be required at the company's expense for out of state employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Travels for field service and warranty issues to customer sites
Assists Technician with projects when not traveling
Works with customer personnel to gain approval of the equipment in the customer's plant
Works with the customer personnel to complete operator and maintenance training in the customer's plant
Completes testing or repairs of equipment with budgeted hours and timeline in mind
Review manuals and spare parts lists with customers
Ensure safety protocols are followed so there are zero lost time accidents
Follows department standards and guidelines
Contributes to meeting the annual Customer Services sales goal
Directly accountable for managing self and leading others towards the advancement of our Vision, Mission and Values & Beliefs
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Skilled and Experienced in operating Microsoft Office Suite of Products and Syteline ERP system
Mechanical, Electrical, and Hydraulic/Pneumatic skilled knowledge and experience
Knowledge of reading Foundation, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and General Arrangement drawings and answering questions
Skilled in the Process Flow of remote troubleshooting
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Takes the lead in the completion of issues
Skilled and Experienced to collaborate with a Cross Functional Team within The Bradbury Group
Knowledge and Experience to discern what is right and fair for the long-term success of a Customer Relationship
Skilled and a Leader in using mechanical prints to troubleshoot
Ability to communicate with Bradbury vendors
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping
Skilled at navigating customer service equipment books
Fully understand and be able to instruct Test Technicians I & II on operator controls and equipment operation
Ability to negotiate with customers when and where it is required, with Bradbury's best interest in mind and to bring a fair and reasonable resolution to our customers
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Prefer formal industrial-related training - machining, electrical, mechanical, fluid power, controls, and/or industrial machine maintenance
TRAINING
For a period of 3-9 months, training will take place at headquarters in Kansas. Training will consist of time learning our equipment, systems, processes, and procedures under the guidance of experienced employees.

Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods of time (domestic and international) 65-75% of the time, and up to 100% of the time
Directly responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license with the ability to rent vehicles and drive Bradbury Company vehicles for work-related travel
Directly responsible for maintaining a valid passport

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
This position is very active and requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day.
The employee must lift and/or move 10-20 pounds constantly, frequently lift and/or move 20-50 pounds and occasionally exert (pushing/pulling) 50-100 pounds of force.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at job and customer sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
