Direct Hire opportunity for an International Shipping Specialist, working at a Steel/Metal manufacturing company located in the NW/290 area of Houston. Gather all documents for vendor bill invoices
Enter in freight charges to POs for submission to accounts payable
Prepare proforma invoices for overseas clearance
Back up on scheduling trucks for deliveries of material
Backup on communication with freight forwards regarding containers, ocean shipments and air shipments
Creating BOL & invoices for shipments
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1-4 years of related field experience
Experience in manufacturing or O&G related field preferred.
Computer skills a must
Possess knowledge of material, customer requirements and sales order structure
Good organizational, problem solving and verbal/written communication skills
