Shipping Specialist - Level 2_

GENERAL NATURE OF JOB:

Performs a broad range of duties related to the coordination, shipping and receipt of domestic and international shipments. This will include coordination with packages, common and private carriers, shipping via various modes. Completes required documentation, accurately and timely. Effective communication is required with all departments throughout Honeywell.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Responsible for the preparation and processing of all required documents and transactions necessary to ship and receive materials to and from domestic and international locations.This may include preparation of manifests, packing lists, letters of credit, declarations, import licenses, certification of origins or like documentation.Transactions may be required on ERP, carrier based and/or manual systems.

+ Coordinates shipments and/or deliveries with carriers and/or forwarding agents.Distributes required documentation to forwarding agent, customer and other necessary recipients.

+ Responsible for investigation of issues related to shipments and receipts.This will include immediate resolution of incoming material issues as well as storage, retrieval and analysis of historic shipping and receiving transactions and documentation.

+ Corresponds with Finance team regarding credit hold customers, following established hold procedures.

+ Work closely with Customer Service, Project Managers personnel to expedite items to meet customer deliveries.

Adhere to returned goods procedures, communicating the receipt of materials, processing upon approval.

+ Generate and/or maintain various shipping and receiving reports, as required.

+ Expedites and follows orders of a critical nature.

+ Responsible for data and inventory integrity within the shipping department.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Assists other office personnel as workload requires and substitutes for them during absences.

+ Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Material Handler Level 2

As a Material Handler Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our Houston, TX location. You will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain operations and ensuring that materials are properly stored, organized, and delivered to the appropriate departments. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will report directly to our Materials Manager and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location.

• Store materials in designated locations and ensure proper organization

• Issue materials to production and distribution departments as per requirements

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
