Orthodontics Assistant/Associate Professor - 24000000MN
College of Dentistry is seeking a Full-time non-tenure/tenure track faculty position in the Department of Orthodontics at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor/Clinical level.
Responsibilities include supervision of clinical patient care and resident education (didactic and clinical supervision, resident research supervision) with opportunities to facilitate clinical and basic science research and work collaboratively with a variety of specialists. There are also some duties and responsibilities with pre-doctoral education of dental students. Opportunities to participate in the College of Dentistry Faculty Practice program currently exist and are available as arranged with departmental leadership. Experience in teaching preferred.
This position will supervise residents in the Advanced Education in Orthodontics program.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a DDS, DMD degree or equivalent, have completed a CODA accredited advanced educational program in Orthodontics, be eligible or certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and be eligible for a Tennessee dental license.
Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and credentials.
