We have an exciting opportunity to support our customer on the Combatant Commands (COCOM) Cyber Mission Support (CCMS) contract as a Software Developer in Colorado Springs.
Duties Will Include, But Not Limited To
Work efficiently and effectively from the office, home office and/or remote locations in a hybrid fashion.
Collaborate with team members, management, customers, and external technical teams to identify/capture end-user requirements and ensure high-quality solutions.
Ensure code quality and security; design for test; assist in code and functionality/usability reviews; troubleshoot, debug, test, maintain and improve software; assist other team members; design, develop, document, analyze, test, integrate, debug, and analyze software and system requirements to provide scalable and reliable services.
Create web graphical user interfaces using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and others
Design, and implement backend software using program languages such as Java, JavaScript, Typescript, C/C++, Python, etc.
Develop microservices using Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration tools
Perform Cloud development and services for Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
Additional duties, as assigned.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field of study; additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Application development using microservice RESTful design patterns
Developing web/cloud front-end, middle tier, and backend applications and experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Platform One, or OpenStack
Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) automated build and deploy tools, Technologies may include Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Terraform, Jenkins, Microservices, etc.
Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.
Demonstrated Software programming in a development environment to include two or more of the languages: C, C++, C#, .NET, XML, PHP, Python, NodeJS, Typescript, Ruby, Java, JavaScript.
SQL and database understanding
Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., CompTIA Security + or equivalent) or must obtain within six months of hire
Experience working collaboratively with a team on larger projects.
ABILITY TO OBTAIN & MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
