Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Event Sales Associate to join our team at Eventors, a comprehensive digital database for booking event vendors and planning services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
Eventors offers a program designed to enhance venues' event offerings and streamline the planning process for their clients. Clients will be able to use Eventors (digital booking database) to book their vendors and their planner. As a sales associate, you'll be instrumental in bringing venues on board and serving their clients with our innovative services. Our program provides venues with dedicated event planners, complimentary client services including planning consultation and vendor matchmaking, access to a wide range of vendors, and financial incentives through commission payouts for bookings made through our platform.
Responsibilities:
Acquiring Venues:
Venue Onboarding: Research, Identify and onboard new event venues to partner with Eventors. Develop and maintain relationships with venue representatives to promote our platform and services. We offer tech and service packages tailored specifically for event venues.
Attending Venue Scouts: As part of your role, you'll actively seek out and visit various venues to assess their suitability for inclusion in the Eventors venue program. This involves touring the venues, meeting with venue representatives, and capturing detailed photos to showcase their features. You'll gather all pertinent venue information and input it into our database to create venue profiles.
Participate in Strategy Meetings: Assist with developing sales strategy & venue program. Will be collaborating with the marketing team as well as the product development team to enhance their sales performance
Monthly KPIs: Manage and report monthly KPIs.
Account Management Tasks & Venue Retention: Monthly check ins with
Organization and Time Management: Maintain a structured approach to sales activities, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet sales targets within designated timelines.
Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, event coordinators, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient sales process.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
Proven experience in the event industry/working with event venues.
Strong knowledge of Google Suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Monday.com.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
