About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director of Experiential Learning to join its esteemed team. This critical role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Law Program, including supervising administrative and paralegal personnel, administering the budget, and ensuring the highest level of client service. The successful candidate will be the administrative anchor of the program, using their legal expertise in client service, case management, and administration to support the faculty, attorneys, and 100 students per semester. Additionally, the role includes the oversight of the law school's Externship Program, cultivating and advertising externship opportunities, and ensuring compliance with ABA standards.Applicants must have a Juris Doctor Law degree and a minimum of three years of experience in professional administrative and/or program/practice management, with a background in law practice and teaching preferred. The role requires advanced legal skills, knowledge of best practices in the field, and the ability to establish and implement a mission and strategic vision. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks, conduct research, and make strategic decisions. The Managing Director will also be responsible for academic advising, data analysis, and maintaining relationships with external partners.
