About the Role
DDS Wireless International is looking for a Sales Account Executive to join our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate will have a hunter mentality and have experience in the SAAS, Taxi, Public Transportation Industries. You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and managing opportunities through the sales cycle, negotiating beneficial business terms, and securing multi-year contracts in order to establish long-term relationships with new clients and retaining existing clients. This position reports to the Vice President, Sales.
The successful candidate will be based in Redmond, Washington, USA.
Responsibilities
Consistently meeting sales quotas including outbound activity, existing customer engagement and renewals plus add-ons to in-year revenue, new logo attainment, business development, market expansion.
Understanding your core market, use cases, terminology, and trends impacting their business and ultimately becoming a trusted advisor to your clients,
Building pipeline with new logo and territory customer list to ensure sufficient opportunity to close ratio
Participating in key industry events to secure new prospects, engage with existing clients and renewing the DDS Wireless International industry leader position
Developing new contacts through outbound phone and email outreach, virtual meetings, and in-person conference attendance
Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce; providing data that will allow DDS to refine our market focus and product roadmap
Developing lasting, positive, and productive relationships with DDS clients; securing referrals and testimonials that lead to new business opportunities
Collaborating with colleagues in pre-sales, marketing, and customer success to provide an amazing customer-first experience
Keeping the company informed on market intelligence regarding the transportation and ride share environment
Maintaining ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales & relationship lifecycle, escalating critical issues where needed
Delivering highly effective discovery sessions to understand the prospect's business needs, priorities, budget, timing, and key KPIs
Managing customer account plans, sales engagement strategies, inbound, outbound activities, lead generation activities, creative and professional customer engagement
Qualifications
2-5 years of quota-carrying experience selling SaaS-based solutions
Experience selling SaaS solutions preferably in the public transportation space, trucking, bus, taxi, ride-share, or fleet management area
Strong history of quota attainment for deals over $100K (proven negotiation and closing skills)
Sales hunter mentality with an entrepreneurial spirit

Great to have Experience and Qualifications:
Established network of contacts in transportation space
Existing knowledge of AI in routing and scheduling dispatch systems
Product awareness and insight of competitive environment globally
An undergraduate degree is preferred, not essential
Proven experience managing deal sizes of $100K+
Comfortable with sales cycles of between 3-9 months
