The Company

Metropolis is an artificial intelligence company for the real world. Metropolis' computer vision platform enables people to transact in the physical world with even greater ease than we experience online. Today, we are reimagining parking. Because it's important, it's everywhere, and impacts everyone – enabling millions of consumers to just "drive in and drive out" – that's it. Tomorrow, we will power "checkout-free" experiences anywhere you go.

The Role

Metropolis is seeking a Head of Product Marketing to oversee brand architecture, product positioning, go-to-market, and sales enablement programs. The ideal candidate for this role is a marketing athlete and builder who is highly analytical, wildly collaborative, customer obsessed, and highly adaptable. You'll help to lead strategic new marketing initiatives such as brand and product positioning, new product launches, and expansion into new geographies and verticals. On a daily basis, you will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, operations, and design to understand our customers, identify market opportunities, position our product offerings, and drive the strategy and execution of effective marketing campaigns to both B2B parking operators and B2C parking customers.

Responsibilities

Become an expert in the Metropolis story and develop product positioning that competitively positions our portfolio of products based on customer/user research, market insights, and product knowledge.

Customer Champion & Competitive Expert: Garner and possess in-depth knowledge of our real-estate customers and how Metropolis can improve their business beyond that of our competitors through customer and competitor analysis.

Empower Sales Teams: Create industry narratives, playbooks, collateral, and full funnel GTM programs to enable our sales team to close deals faster and at increased volume while solidifying customer retention.

Craftsmanship: Flourishes in a fast-paced, feedback rich environment, and is energized by the opportunity to build a high-impact marketing team and scalable processes that drive ruthless prioritization leading to measurable growth and profitability. Outstanding ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, customer support, and executives while owning what you bring to the table.

Define an Overarching Product Narrative: Establish a cohesive narrative around all Metropolis solutions ensuring they complement and support one another while allowing for future growth and expansion.

Leadership: Track record of hiring and developing strong talent; leads from the front with deep knowledge of operational details, process design, and a passion for digging deep into the details when needed.

Integrated Marketing: Track record of close partnership with business development and sales teams to drive and optimize sales growth through marketing.

Insights: Develop and broadly communicate compelling insights about customers (B2B) and members (B2C) through voice of customer and campaign effectiveness reporting and research. Work with business partners to translate insights into actionable recommendations that align with business objectives and drive measureable results.

Campaign Strategy: Create and execute customer onboarding programs and initiatives to ensure a smooth and seamless adoption of our parking technology.

Design & Creative: Lead brand and creative initiatives to ensure a consistent and compelling visual identity and messaging across all marketing materials and touchpoints.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, trade associations, and strategic partners to expand our network and drive business growth.

Success Criteria

Role

Success in this role will be measured by achieving key performance indicators tied to business growth and product marketing objectives. This includes but is not limited to:

Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed revenue targets by successfully positioning our parking technology solutions in the market, attracting new B2B customers, and maximizing customer retention.

Lead Generation and Conversion: Generate high-quality leads for the sales team, nurture them through the sales funnel, and drive conversion to sale.

Customer Engagement and Satisfaction: Create brand awareness, customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction. Measure and optimize customer engagement metrics such as active usage, satisfaction scores, and customer retention rates.

Market Positioning and Differentiation: Further establish Metropolis as a leader and innovator in the parking industry through clear positioning of our products in the market, strong differentiation from competitors, and positive industry recognition.

Go-to-Market Execution: Timely and effective execution of product launches, marketing campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives.

Brand Resonance & Creative Quality: Develop and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience and is consistently reflected in all creative materials and marketing campaigns.

Requirements And Qualifications

Proven experience (12+ years) in product marketing and growth strategy, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Strong understanding of the B2B and B2C marketing landscapes, with demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention.

Extensive knowledge of customer and market research methodologies, campaign management, and product development processes.

Experience in the transportation, real-estate, or related fields is a plus.

Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

When you join Metropolis, you’ll join a team of world-class product leaders and engineers, building an ecosystem of technologies at the intersection of parking, mobility, and real estate. Our goal is to build an inclusive culture where everyone has a voice and the best idea wins. You will play a key role in building and maintaining this culture as our organization grows. The anticipated base salary for this position is $150,000.00 to 220,000.00 annually. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis’s total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans and more.
