Job Summary:

This position is responsible for increasing the bandwidth and pace of the department. This role will facilitate the development, coordination, communication, and accomplishment of short and long-term business initiatives. The incumbent will act as a liaison between the department and other constituencies, will communicate and lead in a manner that fosters greater understanding, employee engagement and drive for results. The individual will represent the department when the senior leader's attendance is not required. Responsibilities:

Provides oversight for strategic projects to ensure that they are effectively moving according to plan objectives and established milestones and measurement criteria.

Provides leadership and direction for change management initiatives, project management, and program implementation on behalf of Department Leadership.

Collaborates cross divisionally and achieves actionable results through others, builds strong and sustainable relationships, and interacts effectively with all levels of the organization.

Disseminates information and communicates ideas on behalf Department Leadership.

Manages highly confidential information.

Attends key internal/external meetings and manages meeting follow-ups.

Deciphers critical information, documents, investigates and thoroughly answers critical questions, ensures timely follow up on all action items.

Tracks progress against plans, identifies any deviations and suggests plans to remediate; provides reports and analysis as required.

Bring department issues to the surface and ensure that they are considered, appropriate action is taken, and the results are communicated.

ADDENDUM-MANDATE OFFICE ONLY

Partners with corporate communications to disseminate and promote information on new mandates to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.

Participates as needed in workgroups hosted by external industry groups, the federal government and the state to identify critical business policy issues and requirements that need to be considered to maintain compliance and shape Horizon's competitive position.

Collaborate with Mandate Portfolio leadership to drive appropriate program and project implementation solution scale, breadth, and financing to achieve mandate compliance in a timely and appropriate manner.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Bachelor degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Requires a minimum 7 years professional experience.

Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience preferred.

Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired

Change management experience in developing and implementing significant culture change within complex organizations.

Ability to problem-solve and operate effectively within a dynamic, results-driven environment.

Solid understanding of operations, reporting and forecasting.

Salary Range:

$94,900 - $129,570

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
