Damien Center empowers communities and persons affected by HIV/AIDS in the state of Indiana by being a leading resource, provider, and advocate for comprehensive HIV/AIDS care, prevention, education, and related services. Damien Center, Damien Cares and Damien Pharmacy provide client-centered social services focused on care coordination, clinical and pharmacy services, mental health, housing, and nutrition to the Indianapolis community.
Position Summary:
Be a driving force behind an innovative non-profit leader! As the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO, you'll uphold our values of dignity, collaboration, accountability, equity, quality, and innovation. This integral role goes beyond just managing calendars - you'll serve as a strategic partner communicating with the Board, donors, staff and partners on the President's behalf.
What You'll Do: Provide professional administrative leadership support to the President
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements
Prepare high-level reports, presentations, materials
Record/distribute meeting minutes to key stakeholders
Serve as the administrative liaison to the Board of Directors
Coordinate leadership meetings, donor visits, agency-wide events
Develop and maintain efficient filing/document control systems
Provide back-up administrative support across departments
Lead employee engagement programs and communications
Proactively identify and resolve issues with a solutions mindset
What You'll Need: 5-7 years experience as an executive assistant supporting a President/CEO
Nonprofit or healthcare environment experience preferred
Prior experience working with a Board of Directors required
Strong skills with Microsoft Office, presentations, board management software
Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma/GED minimum
Exceptional communication, organization and problem-solving abilities
Salary & Benefits: FLSA Status: Salaried, Full-time, Exempt
Leader: President & CEO
Salary: $62,000-$65,000
150 hours of PTO in the first year followed by 195 hours per year moving forward.
12 paid holidays
