Position Overview (Remote)

We are looking for the next Account Executive to join our rapidly expanding sales organization. From prospecting and generating initial conversations to developing team-wide best practices, you will be an integral member of our Sales organization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating excitement about Thunkable. You’ll get to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team, but most importantly, you’ll jumpstart and elevate your career in an exciting and impactful field. What You'll Do:

Develop and nurture relationships within accounts in your assigned territory.

Exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by driving new opportunities, showcasing the value Thunkable provides, and helping set up prospects to be successful customers.

Learn the technical aspects of our platform to position Thunkable effectively. You’ll need to know what is possible and how to discuss it.

Familiarity with the no-code space, with the ability to succinctly articulate the landscape and differentiators and what makes us different to successfully position ourselves against the competitive landscape.

Develop and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contractsCollaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources, including Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, and Account Managers, as well as inform, engage, and own the process for the Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Creator Success teams.

Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales process. We are building a generational company; bring your ideas and help us improve and uplevel our game. Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to open doors for revenue-generating opportunities.

Demonstrate/sell value to key stakeholders within the accounts during complex sales cyclesExceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a monthly and quarterly basis track all opportunity and customer details, including use case, purchase timeframes, next steps, and forecasting in CRM.

What You'll Need

4-year college degree or equivalent work experience required

4+ Years as an Account executive, experience selling to EDU is a huge plus.

Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Proven success with prospecting, developing leads, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals. Detail-oriented and crystal clear communication – our users want to create custom applications, and you’ll need to clearly capture their requirements for a successful process. Every detail must be captured and articulated, both to the customer and internal teams.

Strong business acumen that includes prior experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships, anticipating change, adjusting priorities accordingly, and working effectively as a team

Very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously

Highly motivated to succeed both individually and with a young and fast-growing company. Relentless self-motivation – owning the outreach to engagement to close processes.

Prior Start-up sales experience is a huge plus.
