Sales Manager

Recruit sales and customer service coordinators; implement sales orientation and training programs.
Manage assigned sales staff and assist with skills development, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
Act as a resource to sales staff in contract opportunities and proposals.
Assist sales staff with pricing, closing the sales and developing sales plans for accounts.
Attend trade shows.
Coordinate and assist in leading sales meetings.
Maintain current knowledge of products.
Monitor competitive activity and develop new methods to capture and retain customers.
Answer questions from customers and resolves complaints.
Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; Sales and Marketing, or related field and five (5) years of sales management experience in the building materials industry, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
